- S2000? I've actually heard the opposite about the '99 Sport.. (i.e. it's great). I know the Miata Sport is softer than the 94-97 R-pkg it replaced. I don't think the '99s had enough development time

- No the '99 is *terrible*. Trust me, you _don't_ want one. Ok, so I'm lying in all situations. George Douganis keesps proving the '94 model is right in there despite having 12 less hp and higher geari

- Similar to what I hear but has yet to be proven.. <g> A decent BS Miata guy moved from a '95R to a '99 Sport and prefers the '99.. Added power and chassis stiffness are his top raves.. Do you know w

- I have a '96 R. It's a smidge faster accelerating than a friend's 94 C. When Alan got the '99, we did a few 2nd gear runs of about 20 Miles Per Hour to redline. When the '99 had only a few hundred mi

- I suspect some of the gearing advantage diminishes when you start utting 99's on those tall 225/50/15's, as opposed to the 225/50/14's that are available - in fact, the G-force spec sheet shows the n
