I'll throw my 2 cents in on Stock class rules. Most of them used to make sense. 20 years ago, you could buy aftermarket shocks, wheels and mufflers for a LOT less than OE (Original Equipment) parts.

'K. But there are also lots of aftermarket wheels available pretty cheap (autox your stock wheels, buy cheap sparkly ones for the street), and eBay auctions to buy takeoffs from all over the country.

The way I heard it, this was a safety measure for the Volkswagens which would otherwise slam into the front bump stops and tend to flip. It doesn't make a lot of sense for other vehicles (especially

Of course it should be pointed out that this works mostly on cars with MacPherson struts (which James' old RX7 has). That's because with struts, decreasing body roll also decreases the camber gain as

Escept that some people have 3-4 bars @ a couple hundred dollars each. One desirable F-body bar is $440.00 I disagree, the lighter wheels almost always cost substantially more. Besides, if there is n

Ah! Ok, in there you could certainly eliminate the steering wheel allowance (that most people can't use anyway). I'd also say the coil allowance could go, but I'm not sure how that affects older car

Why not just create a claim class, similar to GRM 2001 Challenge? Pick a ceiling (how about $3000). You can run any car, any level of prep, but be prepared to have it claimed for $3000. This way you
