- Steve......You are right on regarding that "Battery Tender". My Tigers battery went went dead in June 2002. It was a Sears Diehard size 27. I purchased it new in June 1991 and kept a "Battery Tender"

- On the subject of batteries, You can add longevity to most "maintence-free" wet batteries by prying the caps off and adding distilled water, even though the labels say not to. I do this at the start
