- I have a question for the group. I want to switch top frames on my 1973 MGB to one of the early stowable (tinker toy) types. I am also about to buy a new top. Can I put the early stowable top frame

- The top frame will interchange with no problems. The later top as previously noted, is shorter than the stowaway. I do not think you would be happy with the fit of the later top on the early frame.
