The 175 rule was in place since as far back as i can remember, it' was when we only ran one course and to speed things up the slower cars were restricted until they could exceed the qualifier speed.

It is my opinion that Jack Costella's liner is the most advanced streamliner construction existing. I can't imagine a better streamliner unless it incorporates downforce, which Jack Is against, build

I can't say for sure but I understand that Dave Dozier got in Jacks car said he was to closed in to be comfortable. Its hard to build even a roadster that's comfortable. My Vega is like a Barcalounge

I can't say it's a good idea to walk around and look at other cars to see what is legal in your class. Basically you need to comply with the rule book if you want to set a record and not be protested
