I would go with SU's for sure. They are easy to tune and "look right." Parts for SU's are easy to come by including brand new complete sets. The early Strombergs are big and clunky looking to me. I

I have been running the 175's for 25 years. The only troubles I had were idle control and leaky floats. The idle control was handled when the Grosse jets came on the market and the leaky floats with

Hi Bill Personal preference rather than scientific fact but I think the Strombergs are better, they seem to give better performance, and similar economy, I also think they stay in tune longer than SU
