The spark plugs in my TR6 are in so tight that even with a T-bar type spark plug wrench and a foot long ring spanner attached to the T-bar for leverage the damn things still won't budge. I daresay I

I've only experienced this once in all the cars I've worked on. I used a 1/2 drive breaker bar about 18" long. I have no idea why the plug froze in it's hole, but be careful not to let any porcelian

It doesn't take much for plugs to "cold weld" into place. One excellent trick for preventing seizing spark plugs --> anti seize compound! After stripping out the threads of my Mazda (aluminum head),

Damian: Check 2 things: 1.) (dont get mad!) Are you turning the plugs counterclockwise. Don't laugh, I've done the same thing many late nights out in the garage. 2.) A good overnight soak with wd 40

I've never had this problem... but... A. Don't do it with the engine hot, as it's all the more likely to take the threads with it. B. Soak the spark plug with WD-40, etc. and let it sit over-night...
