I am planning to build a hub puller, but I am not having success in finding 1/2-20 6" studs. Anyone have a source short of paying for a setup charge and having them custom made? ($80) . Melusky -- Yo

I can tell you're an incorrigible optimist Lon. There isn't any "easy way" to replace that stud. The "right way" is to pull the hub. Refer to previous postings for how to accomplish this. Basically,

Lon: I tried every way I could to get that stud in but finally had to pull the rear hub. While I was at it I changed all the studs on the hub. I was lucky a friend had a hub puller but you should be
