Chris if you have new bearings then I would install the new races as well. Tap the old race out using a rod along the edge of the race, just keep moving around the outside edge and it will pop out. C

Chris - the advice not to remove the outer bearing race relates to when you are just cleaning, regreasing or adjusting the existing bearings. The outer bearing races are what is left in the hub when
