- I've been using Mobil 1 15w50 in both my MG's for years and have not experienced any additional leaks. I still change oil every 3k miles or so, which may be unnecessary, but it gives me greater peace

- Don't know where you've been. Synthetic 20W50 hs been out for several years. Synthetic oil does not leak any more or less than mineral oil. Synthetic oils have a lower surface tension for easier flow
