The pointed fuses are German, used on VW, BMW, Porsche, etc. British (Lucas) fuses are the glass tubes with metal ends. Yes, they do have a paper slip inside the glass. BTW, British fuses are rated

The Lucas fuses originally fitted to my Nov '52 TD were glass, colored paper inside showing rating, with pointed metal ends. It is my understanding that Lucas fuses more recently are the same except
