The problem on the early T-10's is that the gears are a high nickle content and very difficult to obtain. I know that Dan went through this with his and I am facing the same with mine as second gear

Sounds like a T-10 from a Falcon...I am no expert on these gear boxes but have a few spares for my Falcons. On mine at least the T-10B is the type for the 5 bolt and the T-10H will fit on both 5 bolt

You may, IN FACT, have the original Tiger transmission. The very first ones off the assembly line did not have a Top Loader, but a T-10. You did not give your VIN number, but Norman's TBON lists tho
