As an old TC driver I solved the problem this way. I degreased and cleaned the axle and hub assembly. Then I worked silicone sealant into the axle splines from the outside of the hub and left plenty

As Geoff Love states, the correct and permanent fix is the Phil Marino tapered axle installation plus his modern lip seal axle nuts. He is at 909 352 4419 and a master machinist. He has probably done
