I believe that Abingdon spares did have the double spare wheel carriers. you might try them. The Solid disk wheels were only used on the first 250 TDs made. Then they went to the perforated wheels.

Road wheels for 16 inch tyres were part #131904, in the TD/C section of the Service Parts List. Can't imagine why someone would want them, unless to avoid changing rear axle gears on different track

About twenty years ago I had a set of what were called "MG TD factory competition wheels". They looked exactly like the usual wheel (the ones with the holes, not the very early solid wheel) but the

The big hose at the top has the knitted cover. Just got back from the Moss Motors British Car Festible in Solvang at the Flags Are Up Farms. Took the MGB vintage racer at posted the third best time
