I have the early head with the long reach plugs and was wondering what the recommendations are for spark plugs. I thought I had a new set of plugs for the car but when I opened them they were the 1/2

Early heads used 1/2 inch reach plugs. Later heads used 3/4 inch. For Ron, attached is a page showing plug numbers. It's a little messy as I had to convert the existing TIFF image to text and didn't

My service manual calls for Champion L10s spark plugs. The local parts store doesn't have these plugs nor do they have a cross reference to a newer plug. Can anyone tell me the plug to use in a '51 T

One word of caution if this is the first time your replacing the plugs, check to see that it is the original head. Early heads had the 1/2" reach, later plugs used the 3/4 reach plugs. I've seen lat
