Check your needle centering. The jet might be hanging up on the needle. Hmmmm, wouldn't then when you step on the gas and the needle lifts up.... Confused in Seattle __/__,__ ________/____,,_______ .

There are several possibilities. Have the carbs been recently rebuilt? The cork jet seals should be soaked in oil or ATF to soften them up. If the top jet bearing is worn the jet will jam. I rebuild
