I saw a tidy installation of a Chevette motor in a TD. It actually made it a decent driver with little fuss. I would guess a 1275 'A' motor would be a closer fit. Of course, you certainly wouldn't be

While looking through "Enjoying MG," January edition, I came across the Brown & Gammons ad and they list an XPAG crank for 970 pounds (with VAT). Wouldn't that be about $1,600 delivered to the states

I believe US customers don't pay the 17.5% VAT so the crank should cost 970 minus 170 or about 800 BPS roughly equal to $1320 plus shipping. This info is on the inside cover of their price list. Jim
