I went to set timeing on the TD today but the starting handle would turn the crank nut but it would not turn the pulley that has the timeing mark on it. Do the nut just need to be tigthened and if s

Hi Jim, Turning the starting handle clockwise will tighten the nut/dog if it is loose. The threaded part of the dog is only about 1/2 inch long, so it won't take many turns of the crank to tighten it
