Dick, Don't connect the vacuum. This is for modualted shifting pressures. Light throttle allows a softer shift. Pulling the throttle cable to its maximum position will give maximum governor pressure

On the TH-350 the Vacuum Modulator senses throttle position. The cable is strictly for kick down/down shift. Cap the Vacuum Modulator and secure the relaxed cable safely just like Tom's setup. Bryan

Another consideration for a racing T 350 is to monitor line pressure. A 0-300 psi gauge should do it. 160 psi is what I remember running Tom
