I welded some more today. I made doubly sure the tubing was clean and the rod, I increased the gas pressure +5psi, and increased the post flow time as well. That seemed to help, I think I wasn't usin

Are you using S70-6 rod? The dash 6 rod is high is manganese and silicon for welding dirty, rusty or poor metal. Gas should be 16/20 on the flow meter. Do you have the tungsten pointed??? What size

I think another problem is that I might be getting contamination from the back of the weld, since this is tubing, and I'm getting good penetration, maybe I'm going a little too deep and loosing my sh
