- ARE THEIR ANY EASY SOLUTIONS TO INSTALLING THE ALUMINUM TIGER VALVE COVERS ON A 5.0 MOTOR? IT LOOKS LIKE THE E7 HEADS ARE ABOUT 1/2" TOO HIGH TO ALLOW TIGER COVERS TO BE INSTALLED. SHOULD I CUT FIREW

- I know that the aluminum heads that are currently available for the smallblock ford are 3/8" to 1/2" taller than the older iron heads, but I'd never heard that about the E7TE heads. Going to measure

- I can speak from experience that one needs to be VERY careful when fitting replacement heads on the engine. I had spent nearly 5 years completely restoring my MkII - starting from chemical dip. Ever
