I'm planning on replacing the bottom end bearings in my 75 TR-6 (54k) in an attempt to cure low oil pressure when fully warm. Before I drop the pan I have some questions for the collective experience

This operation is much more intimidating than it really should be. Use a good manual, (I prefer a Bentley) a good torque wrench, and give yourself plenty of time. I believe Moss carries the bearings

Vanderwell bearings work very good with nitraded surfaces. If you don't have a nitrated surface, i.e. std crank, you can use std bearings, which are cheaper and give you a chance to replace a bearin
