- You can use a 7" centres rod no problem, even on an 83mm. bore. The liner clearance ceases to be a problem once you part off the bottom of the liner that 's no longer needed 'cause the piston doesn't

- Perhaps the Volvo series is outside this, but when I last looked, SCCA required stock length in Production car conrods. Yes, they did check mine when we won the Runoffs! P.S. Nice to see Bill Babcock
