Sort of a chicken and egg situation. There is no back bumper on the TR3 so as to allow access to the spare tire well. But if the spare tire is mounted outside the car there is no need to allow access

What do you want to be there were noticeable dents in the boot lid where each rack leg sits on the sheet metal afterwards? My 3A has minor depressions where the rubber cupped lower feet of the factor

The car in question was a TR6 which does have reinforcing bracing under the general area of the luggage rack. And that car, without the spare tire and the board, has a decent sized trunk. Moving the

I saw a TR3 once that had been bought at a Customs auction ... the back of the spare tire compartment had been bondoed shut and a hidden door added to allow smuggling in the spare tire compartment.

Catch this one, A buddy of mine has a real nice 59 BRG TR3A. One unique feature we discovered right after he acquired it was a rectangle cut out of the gas tank right behind the rear interior panel.
