I have another question about subtle differences between the TR4 - TR4A - TR250. My front lower valence (66 TR4A) was mangled many years ago by a tow truck (typical TR long story). I banged it out an

Mark. The TR4A (like yours and mine) has no holes in the front valance, just the "indentation" for the crank hole. However, the TR250 (got one those too) has the hole you describe. Members of the lis

That sounds like a lower valence from a TR-250. They have a rectangular hole in the middle. Roger Elliott
