- Is there anyone else out there who thinks coppercote doesn't work? I have good luck with a light coating of oil and nothing else on head gaskets (and most other gaskets for that matter). I don't see

- Jack et al.. I've had no problems with just making sure of my liner protrusion and torquing the heads to 105 ft lbs. Granted, I'm not stressing my `4 as much as you racers do, however my `4 is bored

- Applying CopperKote (same as you have always done with Gaskascinch) may be part of the problem. I was always under the belief the copperKote should be applied, to the head gasket only, not the head
