- Anyone have a line on where I can buy an TR4 original configuration fan belt. None of the "big three" have them. They only have the "cogged" replacements. They say that they can't find a supplier/man

- What is it you don't like about the cogged belt? My experience has been that they last longer. Also they can be run slightly looser, which is easier on the generator and water pump bearings. -- Chip

- FWIW, something I have heard but not actually tried: that a Cummins belt Supposedly it rides lower in the pulleys than the original but is considered pretty stout. Geo Hahn 59 TR3A

- I have been using a cog fan belt on my TR3A for about ten years and 10000 with no problems I believe I got it from Rodester Factory Philip Schulert

- I use it, I like it, but it's a cogged belt. Art was looking for a smooth BTW, that P/N was obsoleted in the late '80s, but my Cummins dealer was able to cross reference it. IMO the bottom of the bel
