Did the factory have a long neck radiator without the crank hole on 62 to 63 TR4s? I am trying to figure out when the TR4 began using the radiator without the long neck. Thanks, Jim Henningsen Maitla

Looking in the gospel according to Piggott, CT 9553 was the end of the TR3 style header tank. This must have been mid-62. I do not know when the crankhole was dropped. Geo Hahn

Here we go again. CT13917L , a 63 TR4 has a long neck that original to the car. So I call BS on Piggott. Darrell

But interestingly enough, the Moss catalog specifically lists a long neck radiator fitted after CT9552, without a crank hole. My older copy of Piggott says it was dropped for the TR4A, but again the
