Is there a good way to separate the sections of an exhaust system. I have been trying to avoid doing this, but it looks like it will be necessary in order to remove the drive shaft. Thanks, I guess

Well assuming there is some rust, I recommend a product called Mopar Heat Riser solvent. Available from Chrysler dealers. That's how I got mine apart. Basically you just spray it on and tap the part

personally i'd rather pull a transmision or diff than tear the exhaust apart. just my opinion gary 73 TR6
