I have a late model TR6 head -- has the wider distance between the ports. It is about 3.55 inches thick in stock form. I had it milled to 3.30 inches. Taking this quarter inch off has raised the com

According to the TR6 prep manual, 3.375" gives a compression ratio of 10.25:1. This is with zero deck clearance. it appears that if you mill it to 3.295" you get a CR of 12:3:1 with zero deck clearan
