I've had excellent results using urethane rack mount bushings.I use two small wooden blocks, one against the mount and the other against the flange on the rack, pressed together by a C-clamp to get t

I always used a pair of "C" clamps to pre load the rubber..... worked for me with no problems. Ken Celebrating 17 years of TR 250 ownership this Sunday
