- Yes it is true, he raced for the Bob Tulius (spelling) team in the late early 70's. He ran a white TR6, number 44 I think. Steve Chandler

- Paul Newman did race a TR6 and won the 1976 SCCA D-production championship. He bought the car for $15,000 from Group 44 after they had won the 1975 championship with it. Newman's racing organization
