I don't profess to know anything about the origin of the name TVR, but TWR is Trevor Wilkinson Racing, which seems quite sensible. ^ (TWR was the builder of the Jag X?220) Regards, Simon

Dear Simon: I beg to differ. TWR stands for Tom Walkinshaw Racing. I'm not sure how much they had to do with the XJ220, but they were very much involved with Jag in their return to factory supported
