There is one TVR, the 250 I believe, that shares lot's of parts with the TR-6. Engine, drivetrain, and taillights to name a few... There was one @ the local auto-x this weekend..... iii

Actually, the model designation was 2500 and 2500M. These were built from 1971 to 197y according to "The Great Book of Sports Cars" Bill Sohl

I believe the Tuscan had the cortina taillights. The Griffith used the same body as the early Granturas, which used MGA/Jaguar/Bugeye/TR2-3/etc. tailights. The Tuscan used the same body as the Vixen

Not knowing where this started, but I've been working on a 1964 TVR, which is not in too good a shape. It is powered by a ford cortina engine, VW front end, healy 100 wheels and breaks. The complete

Sounds like more fun than most people can stand! :-) Is that the same stubby TVR that also came with the Ford 289? I always liked that one. If you used the 289, parts would be easier to find! Mike T

Mike, yes it is. Engine parts and drive parts have not been the problem. Its the brake hyd. system and stearing that have given the most problem. Thanks for the reply. paul
