- I tried to run digital guages with a mag on one engine in the car and an electronic ignition on the second engine but when the first engine was running (mag) the mag rendered all the electronic stuf

- Jim; Some years ago when I was running a Howard head GMC in my '32 I had a Vertex and an Autometer tach that was made to run with a mag. I don't remember anything special about it so I guess it work
