I seem to braking right rear brake tail lamp bulbs. I double checked my rewiring and it seems OK. I'm wondering if I'm using the wrong bulb. I cant read the other one for a replacement number. I have

Have you done a voltage check with the rpm above 2000 (assuming you still have a generator) to see what the real working voltage is? Regulator could be out of whack (got some fresh whack for it?) and

Thanks David. I have an alternator installed so regulator isn't the I just now looked at the bulb. Nothing visably wrong so I swapped left to right and vice versa. Now they are both working. Go figur

Wrong, the alternator contains a regulator and they can go bad. At the extreme end when they've gone bad to non-existant the battery is massively over-charged and smells of bad eggs. The engine start

Not sure about a 2057 but the standard brake/tail lamp bulb number is 1157. Is a 2057 a 6 volt bulb? -- Frank Clarici Toms River, NJ
