Has anyone found a good replacement for the standard 1156 or 1157 bulbs for tail lights and turn signals? Anything that is brighter? I have seen some bulbs made by Sylvania that are marked European B

I have seen 1157 halogen bulbs at many discount auto parts stores. I personally do not know if they are much brighter. My concern with halogens is that they burn hotter and may melt the plastic lense
