Didn't someone mention the other day about the tube being filled with ether? I don't know if I would want to solder that one up myself, I would rather leave that to a trained professional

In the UK at least it is generally cheaper to replace the whole thing. Speedograph do mend them if you really want one mended. 1312 << I can live without this and I do not want to replace the temp/p
