If you have the thermostat tower off you can allso spray penetrating oil onto the back side of the sensor with the plasict tube that comes with most cans. Russ Southwell 70 1600

I can only offer my opinion (I'm not a professional mechanic) but after owning over 35 cars in the last 25 years I will tell you that a pump that pumps gas into a can is no indication that it's works
