That sounds like an ignition problem. Check all the wires and connector to the ignition. If you still have points, I recommend you put in a Pertronix unit. Ron Fraser First, I want to thank everyone

Rob mine was doing this a few weeks after I installed a new starter. Everything would shut down for 10 seconds, tach, lights, engine ,etc. then restart before I even got stopped. I knew it had to be
