I just ordered the 98 mustang shop manual on CD from Helm (still haven't seen any books from the usual suspects). At least when I get grease on a printout of some pages, I can print up another copy.

I tried that. They sent me to Helm. Alas, but the cost of purchase is not.<s> For my 98 mustang, CD was 150 and the printed version was 110. Shipping is less for the CD though.
