With my Lucas problem bypassed (not resolved) I came across another stumper of a Major oil leak!!!!! not when running but when I shut off the engine about 1/2 a qt pours out of the back of the pan. I

Frank, the Sprite must have PCV because it only leaks when you shut off the engine. My guess would be either the rocker cover gasket or sump gasket not installed properly. Good luck. Dave Formstone 1

The A+ oil pan gasket does not fit. It comes close enough to either deceive you (fail to notice the misfit), or to tempt you to use it with a little fudging. The misfit is at the rear of the engine,

I dropped the pan today, no leak due to cork seals or pan gasket, all clean and dry.I had oil flying in through the starter access hole (rubber plug not in yet) I pulled the engine, pulled the back
