I have the 160 thermostat in my BJ8 because that is the only one I could find with the slicing sleeve. Would it be prudent to switch to a 180 even though it doesn't have that feature? Ned Smith BJ8 n

I've tried a couple of 180 thermostats in my BJ8, and neither would get the engine to operate above 170-175, unless I was in traffic. Now that I'm dismantling the car, I plan to test the gauge. In th
