Hi Hank - I think I saw this car at a "LeCercle" car show last year or the year before and talked a bit with the owner. It's a totally "original/derived" design - his interpretation of the sports car

Looks like a replica of an Aston Martin DBR-1 with a modified nose. It is even the same color as the factory Astons.

The car must be a one-off. It has design elements from AC Ace, Aston DB1, Birdcage Maserati and Ferrari 250. It looks well done, though Tom Butters The Greens Fork Group Creative Communications Servi

I agree with Greg. The car has drum brakes all around, small diameter exhaust which comes out of the engine down low suggesting a stock motor. Front end looks like an AC Ace grill. A key might be the

Looks like a British homebuilt I've seen pictures of, patterned on a Maserati A6GS Spider. Birdcages are unmistakable - the cockpit is filled with a gazillion tubes about 1 cm diameter! Jim -- Jim Ha

Gee, there is what appears to be a nice badge just above the grill. If you had snapped a close-up, it might be easier to ID. It's not a birdcage. Looking at the cockpit photo, there would be many sma

I am fairly certain that this is a body produced by W.J. Paton of Latimer, England, in the 1950's. A friend has an MG-powered special with this type body, and it looks virtually spot-on. The bodies w
