Assuming you still have all the standard bits check the clamps on the interconnecting rod between the carbies. You won't have slack in the cable but the butterflies won't have moved either. Peter Any

Is there more than one hole on the inter-carb rod for connecting the cable to? On mine the hole is at the outside of the 'wing', a hole closer to the rod/shaft should provide greater throttle opening

I have a set of 1.5" SU carbs on the 1275. The throttle cable and choke cable attach to the carbs with a pin that has a hole for the cable and a nut that pinches the cable against the carb linkage. W
