Excuse my ignorance on webers, Why are they so hard to tune and are the SU's harder or easier to get tuned right? I curretly have a weber on my 72 GT but have recently pruchased a commplete SU setup

Webers only have an idle and volume (mixture) screw-settings to do with tickover. The rest of the fuel delivery-idle circuit, mid range, full throttle-is dictated by the various jets (air and fuel)

Yes, it would be nice to know which carb we are discussing. The side draft DCOE does have an idle mix adjust. When you adjust idle mix on any carb, you are not really tuning it, you are just tuning
