I have never had any problems having radial tires mounted on my '70 TR6. Go to another dealer. You will notice a considerable difference (for the better) in performance with the larger tires. There

I run 195-75X15's. This was a recommended size when the 185x15 (metric) sizes became unavailable. Diameter is almost exactly the same. This tire was originally a light truck tire size. Cheers. James
