I just bought a used set of painted wire wheels for my 1971 MGB, and they have a BRAND NEW set of Michelin MXV's on them. The size is 175/R-14. The Dunlops on my current chrome wires are 185/70R-14 D

I've been running 175R14s for years. Fit is no problem whatsoever. Appearance might be a little funny with the "big and littles" -- you'll have to see if you can stand it. Or, swap 'em to someone who

I've used both sizes, I an now using 175 -14 , never noticed any difference in handling. Have 175 on both Roadster and GT. Carl E.
