I have a set of Michelin 165-14 XZXs on my MGB. The tires have been on the car about 8 1/2 years and 40k miles. They still have plenty of tread on them and minimal evidence of dry rot or cracking on

Sheesh, I almost forgot that I had 165's on my 'B when I bought it. They would look like bicycle tires to me now. Must be easy to find the old four-wheel drift with those! I would suggest that the 8.

I'd think I'd want a new set after nearly 9 years. Besides tread wear, there are other changes (chemical, etc) that take place over time, particularly if they are starting to get brittle. You should

Have you priced 31 X 15 X 10.5 all-terrain tires of late? A set of tires for my Pathfinder were four times as expensive as the ones for my MGB.
