My suggestion will only work for people with $$$ and wire wheels that need replacing anyway. My solution is tho change over to 15 inch wheels. It will then take the same size tyre that the VW bug tak

The VW bug doesn't use 15" wheels. I once saw a prototype that was made in Wolfburg for the Sahara that had huge wheels on an elevated suspension. They were 14" wheels. Cheers, Agustin
